WORD OF CAUTION!!

Welcome to Warrior Web, specifically "Warrior's Machete," my blog.

A word of CAUTION. Although there are many inspiring, enlightening, and motivating commentaries and posts inside my site that are suited for people of all ages, there are also many which naturally carry a more mature and masculine tone and perspective. (Don't get me wrong. There are no materials that are lewd or sexually graphic -- there never has been, there never will be. This is NOT AT ALL the reason why I provide this warning.)

My reason for providing warning is simple.

I am a 48 year old male who's had unique career and life experiences. I also have many different interests and pay serious attention to many issues such as any concerned husband and father might when it comes to what is going on today's cultural, political, and social environments. I express my opinions in a mature, bold, blunt, and politically-incorrect fashion. I do not compromise what my gut first urges me to to speak.

I do NOT tolerate political-correctness and moral relativity when I discuss ideas that actually have to do with making life work; in my opinion, these are the two gravest dangers mankind faces today. There is a radical over-sensitivity today to the use of certain words and what "concepts" those words actually mean and represent. I don't pay attention to that sensitivity. I believe words mean things and I don't compromise what their meanings are. I do not pull my verbal, worded punches when I opine on ideas and issues.

I am also NOT confused about my gender. I have no desire to tone down the nature of the sex I am. I am a male and am proud to be a man. I will often forcefully punctuate my points and positions on ideas and issues with manly language. I make no apologies.

Parents need to be aware of what their children are getting into on the internet. There is plenty here at my site that is incredibly positive and inspiring for children, yet in some instances parental oversight is advised so that thorough explanation can be provided to a younger mind as to why I've expressed my thoughts in the "grown up" manner I have.
