Tonight…July 3.

Hello warriors. The reason given for my non-appearance last night is legit. The hookup was set to happen from the State Capitol building in Santa Fe. When I got there, there was one tech and he could not get an audio signal to go out. The young kid tried as hard as he could up till only ten minutes remained in the show — at that time they killed any chance of my appearance happening. As the kid let me out of the empty building he turned to me almost ready to cry and told me he’d always been a huge fan and really was sorry he let me down.

Those of you who immediately assumed I flaked don’t belong here. Nothing I’ve ever done in my life is inconsistent with the man I’ve long been honestly telling you I am. I never flake — every single second of my life I show up. You write and comment that you have been let down. Let me be clear about something, here. My life is not driven by a concern whether or not I will let you down. It is driven solely by my concern that I will never let myself down. And when I don’t, you won’t be.

I’m making the trip to Albuquerque this afternoon. Tonite I will be on the show. What I have to say has not been said by anyone else. Remember, I blow up bridges, I don’t just burn them. I’ve come too far in building up the principles and man I am to ever sell either out. It’s Always Believe, not Sometimes Believe.

I will be watching. I knew it was legit. These things happen. Thanks for going on H&C. I am glad your voice will be heard by millions tonight. Maybe they will learn something.

  2. Ed Says:

That’s telling it like it is. Looking forward to tonight’s show, Warrior. Don’t let those guys cut you off, as they frequently do with their guests. I’m not sure what all will be discussed on the show, but I’d like to hear the Warrior’s take on certain topics. I’m hoping the focus won’t be entirely on steroids. Even with all the new info coming out, I tend to believe there was more than chemicals involved in the Benoit incident. In any case, I’ll be tuning in tonight. I’m also looking forward to your following post, Warrior.

No better way to celebrate the birthday of this, the greatest of nations! Drop a hammer on ‘em!

Warrior, you certainly haven’t let me down at all! I’ll definitely be watching tonight and I know you will do well! Best of luck to you! :D

    Warrior,

Glad to hear that it was indeed an audio malfunction. I take what Sean Hannity has to say as truth and wouldn’t believe he would mislead any of the viewers in a “cover-up”. I also believe you to be a man of character and didn’t think for a second that you “flaked”. I was however wondering if MAYBE someone was trying to put a muzzle on you and didn’t want you leaking or exposing anything that would wreck the WWE. Perhaps you will, never know, all I know is that I watch Hannity and Colmes alomost nightly, so, no big deal, I’ll be watching again tonight as usual. It’s those who tune in ONLY to see you and hear what you have to say that I’m concerned with. If people have their feelings hurt over you not being broadcast last night because of technical difficulties, then why are they even following you anyway? Seems to me that there are too many “Feelers” and not enough “Thinkers” in the Pro Wrestling fan base. Too many showing up and dropping notes of ridiculous feelings of being let down. They need to take a long hike off a short pier.

Hopefully they’ll [Fox News Channel ]get it right tonight and don’t let that pencil necked geek Alan Colmes bait you or cut you off like he does ANYONE else with an opinion different than his own. Give Hannity my best, he’s a real American. I can’t wait to write about the segment on my site [TomsView.com ] as I’m sure it will be entertaining to say the least, hopefully enlightening as well. BLOW ‘EM UP WARRIOR!

Exactly who is Warrior going to blow up? He didn’t appear on H&C last night. As I stated on one of the other threads here, “Warrior failing to appear when and where advertised? Why does that sound familiar”?

I was (and still am) interested to hear Warrior’s take on the matter, just as I was with Debra (Stone Cold Steve Austin’s ex-wife), Marc Mero (whom I heard on the local news in Florida), and Ted DiBiase (who was on the Greta Van Strustren show on FOX News).

DiBiase said it best. At what point do we hold the individual responsible? If the reports we’ve heard on the news are accurate, that means one thing: The blame for this tragedy falls squarely on CHRIS BENOIT, not Vince McMahon, not WWE, not “roid rage” (although the anabolics didn’t help matters).

  9. Heat Says:

Well, this is really good to know. The story about the kid almost in tears. I would have been the same way. I really thought they changed their minds about having you on the show. Thought they got scared, lol. But i really think they’re hooked on this dumb idea of ‘roid rage’ much like some body builders are hooked on steroids. But we shouldn’t be worried about Warrior. He’s a big boy. He can take care of Himself.

    Warrior. Intense.

  10. needleboy Says:

Hello Mr.Warrior.The anticipation for your appearance on Hannity is electric.Im sure all of the few anti Warrior fans and all of the so called Pro Wrestlers of the past and present are not looking forward to it.As a huge Warrior fanatic,(WITH THE WARRIOR TATTOOS TO PROVE IT),all I must say TO THE HATERS IS “Fuck em all”.Give them hell, expose all of these hypocrites. Show them that you are evenmore intense and evenmore Ultimate then ever .Thanks

  11. Anthony Sarconi Says:

Ultimate Warrior, I can’t emphasize how psyched I am about yopur appearance tonight. I haven’t seen you on television since 1998, and I’ve prayed for your return. I’ve got the Warrior Shield tattooed on my chest (since 1999) so that I never forgot for one minute what an inspiration The Ultimate Warrior was to me, so that I never cease to reach for the Warrior within myself every day I live on this earth.

There is no better time than right now for everyone to once again FEEL THE POWER.

  12. Scrapiron Bryan Says:

Warrior, I won’t wish you luck as I know you don’t believe in it. I’m thinking positively all will go well tonight.

  13. DJ Danielson Says:

    Good segment on Hannity.

  14. Anthony Sarconi Says:

Warrior, I just watched your appearance on H&C tonight…..he was very closed minded in saying that “any steroid use at all in wrestling is bad”. Your response was 100% true in that it’s the lifestyle choices these wrestlers make that cause their emotional breakdowns & health problems. They have no business using performance enhancing drugs at all if they use recreational drugs, make poor nutritional choices, etc because it’s abuse.

Plus you hit the nail right on the head in saying essentially that there is NO excuse for what Benoit did. If this was a decent human being he would have never done what he did no matter what he was taking.

  15. MMH Says:

Great appearance, and Hannity has met his match when it comes to someone who can out talk him. You more than held your own and got your points across just fine. You pulled no punches and that is what you promised. It was worth the wait. My only concern for last night was the mess of experts they had on instead of you including Debra Marshall, I thought maybe you just threw your hands up in irritation and said “forget this”. Should have known better I know. You made no excuses for this horrible act of Benoits’and left no doubt in anyone’s mind what you felt about the subject of the use of steroids in a controlled way handled by responsible adults. Agree or disagree you can’t fault the truth. People (Hannity) who know nothing of the uses of these drugs in a controlled way should keep their mouths shut but I guess that would not make for very good tv now would it. Unless one has been a pro athlete of any kind they have no idea what it takes to build and maintain a body to withstand the brutal treatment it goes under in these professions but that does not stop them from buying tickets to watch the events does it? You are living proof that living a clean and healthy life in mind and body goes a long way in still being here at the ripe “old” age of 48. Feel the INTENSITY feel the POWER, of the WARRIOR!

  16. Mantic Says:

What were you going to say about Mark Fuhrman when you were cut off, tonight?

I must say, I’m not sure what was supposed to be the unique, original idea, unless the efforts to lead you into villifying Steroids distracted you from what you intended to say. After all, anyone who has paid attention to what you’ve been saying here for the last decade or so is not going to expect you to suddenly start arguing or excuses, or turning 180 degrees in your opinion of Steroids.

  17. Aaron Says:

It was a good segment, but that audio lag really hurt overall. It would have been much better to have it in the studio where there are no delays. They would ask Warrior a question, and he would hear it 5-10 seconds later and start to respond, but they would think he didn’t hear them or something and start talking right as Warrior started to speak. It screwed everything up.

Kudos though to you Warrior for shutting Hannity up long enough for you to get your point across. That’s the attitude you have to have on Hannity and Colmes, because if you don’t, you’ll never get to speak.

Good segment overall and good to see Warrior on TV. Can’t wait for the blog entry!

    ~Aaron

  18. Doug Schmorr Says:

Great, great job tonite on H&C, spoke the truth in love and didn’t “mickey mouse” around the truth of gear use and try and pretend the wrestlers are natural. It is sad that instead of recognizing sinful human nature, the media would rather blame drugs that increase muscle mass and generally give an overall sense of well being.

  19. Kosmo Kramer Says:

I was glad you went on Hannity and Colmes. I have been a huge fan for years. I thought you added good comments to Hannity and Colmes. For me that number one question I have is was this a double murder homicide or a triple homicide with Benoit. You looked great as you always have in the past. How much do you bench? I always wondered. This is a ridiculous topic when steroids keep getting blammed. Are they on drugs not to understand the difference between performance enhancing drugs and pattern of use for performance enhancing drugs and DRUG ABUSE (not just steroid abuse but ABUSE OF DRUGS)???? I lost a lot of respect for the show especially Sean over how you were treated. You do deserve more respect for who you are and your honesty on the steroid subject than they were willing to give you. Maybe you should take that pencil neck Sean up on that match.

  20. Len Johnson Says:

Warrior!!!! You need your voice to be heard on a broader scale. I think it’s grand you are leaving no stones unturned and all, but don’t you think it should be heard everywhere, by everyone?

  21. j Macdonald Says:

Really enjoyed your appearance on H&C. Wish you had more time.

Wade Keller from The Torch had this to say: “The bolded quotes above are among the best quotes by anyone yet this week in terms of cutting to the chase.”

    Thanks for speaking the truth.

  22. Lone Wolf Says:

First off, great appearance on Hannity and Colmes tonight. You made the exact point I’ve been trying to get out there, steroids are not to blame, it’s the weak minded substance abusers who’ve failed at life. You mentioned Draper and Schwarzenegger among others ,who have taken steroids dating back to the 70s,and have no ill effects. Another one I’d like to add is Lou Ferrigno. Lou has been the same size since the 70s , and is probably larger than any wrestler on the WWE’s current roster. I’ve yet to hear of any problems he has. You did a great job of not falling into the trap that many wrestlers do,that being led along in questioning until the hosts get the answers they’re looking for. You took over and got your points across.

Most of the wrestlers that have died have been heavy substance abusers, they were weak. Why is it that Warrior , Rick Martel ,Tito Santana and more, all who have admitted to using steroids, have gone on to greater things outside of the wrestling world, while other have fallen by the wayside? If steroids were this monster that everyone makes them out to be,why hasn’t it taken down everybody, not just a select few? The answer is,just like in all walks of like, there will be those that blame their shortcomings and failures on others.

Lastly, to the idiot name Kendra and the comments made on the june 29 blog, Warrior was on to defuse the rumors of steroids creating monsters, he never claimed to know anything about the murder. Please remove your foot from your mouth, thanks.

  23. Terence Says:

Thank you for bringing credibility back to wrestling, and especially to the perceived intelligence of professional wrestlers, themselves. Your interview was one of the best I’ve seen, especially considering it was held within the lion’s den at Fox News. I’ve been considering a career move towards that new Tampa WWE training grounds to fulfill my dreams of being a pro-wrestler, but obviously have misgivings about coming in now with the current state of the industry. Your words inspire me to go for it and damn anyone else’s expectations, so once again and twice as sincerely– thanks.

  24. Victoria Says:

Hey Warrior. Saw your interview last night. I don’t understand how they can give Debra “Mac”Marshall so much “hot” air time (3 days, AND don’t get me started that she is billed as an “ex pro wrestler”), and you only get 7 minutes. I think your views would have come across stronger if you were there in person. All of these so called journalists keep blaming steriods for this tragedy. If they only knew half of what pro wrestling is, then maybe the term “roid rage” wouldn’t be thrown around soo loosely. I believe these guys have other drugs in their bodies to numb the pain of performing 300 days a year. Of course they all take steriods, and so do baseball players, football players, boxers, etc. This so-called rage is only an effect of abusing steroids. I don’t know why Chris did what he did, but I figure it has to be a combination of other drugs, and a weak mind, not just steroids. Everyone is looking to blame the WWE because the one person who is to blame, took the easy way out. Please post thoughts, as all of us fans did not get an ear full last night.

Way to go Warrior! I knew you wouldn’t back down from those jack-offs on that show. Every guest they have, that doesn’t share their like-minded and ignorant viewpoint on issues, they try to cut off. Road Warrior Animal was on a few days earlier and they interrupted EVERYTHING he said and you could tell from the look on his face, that he was getting highly pissed off. I’m glad you didn’t give those pencil-necked jerks an inch.

  27. Robl7up Says:

Great appearance WARRIOR…Some excellent points you made, and you came of very intelligent and dignified. Well DONE!

  28. Dimitri Says:

Way to go Warrior! Loved the segment. I share your opinion that there is no excuse for Benoit’s actions. The man people revered all over the world, made the WRONG CHOICES. You can go on and on debating about what ultimately was Benoit’s undoing (ie roid rage, pain killers, doing blow, what have you). At the end of the day, the man himself is to blame, noone else.

  29. Adam Says:

Warrior im so glad you tell the truth as it is and as you see it ive been a fan of urs for years and years wonderful job longtime warrior fan
