Wow! They tried to shut you up, but you kept going. Good Job! Ironically enough, after the YouTube video stopped, other videos popped up at the bottom to view as well. I don’t know if I would want someone viewing them after such an intelligent debate with Hannity and Colmes. It comes off like your’e some kind of babbling idiot. I am not saying you are an idiot by any means, I respect you and look up to your standards, but to have the WWE video available to watch afterwards; isn’t something I would want other people to see to get your message about Roid Abuse across. Watch it the video then wait for the other videos to pop up at the bottom of the viewer, you’ll see what I mean. Click on the Chris Jericho image.
watching this video is the first ive ever heard of these hannity and colmes guys as im from the uk, this is also the only non ultimate warrior vid ive seen of warrior, fair play you tried but some people just cant take in what there hearing, was good to see that old itensity still burning in the warrior. the world needs more warriors.
Yeah, the million dollar man hinted at taking responsibility but didn’t get specific and didn’t make a strong argument for it. No ill will towards the million dollar man; he doesn’t have the courage to blow up bridges, let alone burn them.
Very funny part of the video was when colmes asked warrior if he “knew benoit,” as if this would soften warrior’s stance. As if Warrior, like all the rejects they had on “before” Him, would talk about this monster in a sad, reflective way. As if Warrior would feel guilty for being ALIVE because this monster is DEAD.
And they contradicted themselves numerous times. Noones trying to say that there is an excuse for committing the heinous crimes Benoit committed? With this retarded ‘roid rage’ theory, the media isn’t providing him with an excuse? If not, then let’s see either one of these bozos step up to the plate, call this guy the monster that he is and simply say that benoit turned his back on his protective responsibility to his family. it would never happen, because THEY DON’T HAVE THE BALLS to say what warrior said. Instead, they just kept on pushing their STUPID BUTTON (most hilarious thing i’ve heard in quite awhile) and asking dumb questions.
And why is it that this excuse is being made for him, aside from the fact this is what comes out every time the media presses the stupid button? I guess it’s because he’s dead. I mean, if he opted not to kill himself (he did contemplate it before actually doing it) after murdered his wife, and then used his finisher on his son, would roid rage have still been spoken of? Would the media then have supported this retarded theory? Probably not, considering the sensationalism of benoit’s face, dressed up in his suit, the trial televised, with his insanity plea. And they make this excuse for him simply because the guy is dead. Had benoit not killed himself, the media would be clamouring for his execution or something. And just to give y’all an idea of how MOTHER BEEPING IDIOTIC AND RETARTED the media has become, they basically feel that someone or something has to pay for benoit’s death. that benoit escaped that by committing suicide. So, if you can’t find someone or something other than steroids, they are not going to be satisfied until anabolic steroids are tried and publicly executed. Somebody has to pay, somebody has to pay. I think i’m beginning to understand, i really do. It’s too stupid, it’s just too freaking stupid. There’s no thought or rationality in it, it’s just plain stupidity. Are they proud of how stupid they are? They must be, because they won’t stop pushing that button.
BTW, Warrior, you looked so great on TV. Only if you had your OWN show, and I got to see your face every day. The spiked hair looked super cool.
I grew up watching you! Makes me mad when people ask celebs to come on their show and answer questions and they do not have decency to let the guest answer the question asked. I don’t know about you, but nothing pisses me off more than being interupted when asked a question…those guys were very disrespectful! Hope all is well!!
Nice to see you again, its been a long time since I saw you on tv. I was just a kid then and now I am 26. I’ve been a wrestling fan since I was 5. After you left wrestling I heard about what you were up to and to be honest I didn’t know what to think of the new you. I thought alot of what Vince McMahon said about you was true. After seeing you on Hannity and Colmes, I admit I was wrong about you. big time. You are not what they say. You were right about so many things. I agree with you. Steroids can be bad if you use them the worng way. I haven’t taken steroids, but I think it comes down to the choices we make as individuals. I think if those 65 wrestlers died of drug abuse then its their falt for abusing drugs and not the industries. I hope to hear more of your ideas. Now I believe again.
You weren’t given nearly enough time to speak. They acted as if they had no idea that steroids don’t actually convince or force people to kill their family and themselves over a three day period. Everything you were saying was right on the money but they were asking redundant and stupid questions in an obvious and pathetic attempt to push their anti-personal-responsibility-agenda. I’m glad that you got time on national TV to say those things though. There is no one else like you on television, period.
If anything they should have simply introduced you and let you speak for 20 minutes with no interruptions on Benoit, personal responsibility, being a man and a father, and anything else that pertained to the discussion. It would have been enlightening for most of the flippant heathens who regularly watch that program, not to mention the hosts of the show as well.
Man, nothing is more annoying than watching a show have a guest good enougb to give the show their time, just to have the host not give them the decency to let the guest speak, or cut them off like this clip showed. People can say whatever they want about Warrior, but man that was brutal how they treated him and tried to make him look on that.
I got a kick out of the one guy saying “I think it is abuse if you use steroids if you do not use them for medicinal purposes.” He looks like he has never touched a football or a hockey puck, he obviously has never walked in the shoes of an athlete who had to make a choice.
Get them off the air.
I wasn’t too happy with the interview: too many interruptions, no point was clearly made. I look forward to your article on Benoit and the theory on “Roid Rage” though.
Great points Warrior, there is a difference of use and abuse. Just like with anything, you abuse it you can have problems. Just a while back I heard of a girl dying from analgesic cream due to excessive use. Which goes to show anything without proper dicipline can lead to problems. Always great to hear what you have to say Warrior.
Pretty cool interview, congrats. Straight to the point, as we all wanted it to be.
I’ll never stop believing in the strenght of the WARRIOR!!! XD

(NOTE: The day you produce a more “neutral” Warrior shirt, I’ll buy it without blinking. Simply put, I’m not American and I don’t live in the USA, so walking around with its flag would look funny)
Hello Warrior,
It was awesome seeing you on T.V. again. Everytime I have got wind of you appearing on T.V. I have treated it like the Second Coming. I was 22yrs old at 5′10″ and 145lbs when I first saw you in the WWF. You inspired me to pick up the iron and begin a life long journey of health and fitness. I am now 40yrs old at 210lbs still training as my life depends upon it and it does.
I first meet you at the Long Beach Convention Center in California. I had just got a Tattoo of the Warrior’s mask on my right bicep and you said ” That’s awesome”. I will never forget that experience. You have been my hero and mentor of the iron all these years and now even more since I found out that your ideology is conservitive.
Now about Benoit and the other wrestlers that have passed on. Every sport has a season. Then there is some time off so the mind and body can recover. In wrestling there is no time off. These wrestlers are putting their bodies through a lot of stress. Plus the fast night life they live after the matches are over. Their bodies are in pain so they take meds for the pain. They take meds to sleep. they take meds to stay awake. Stress on their bodies and on their minds. Its only a matter of time before the weak pop. And that is what I believe happens. Warrior you made an excellent point and I make the same point when I debate this subject at work and that is: Take all the atheletes that are on steriods and have never popped versus the very few that do. There is no comparison. That leads me to believe that there has to be other factors involve that the bias media will not concider.
Great job Warrior. You are truley a breath of freash air.
Always Believe,
Raul

Warrior, as always, people search for easy myths instead of hard truths. Your appearance on the show was informative, and your illustration involving Arnold, Zane, etc. was excellent & over their heads. The media will continue to clutch at the strawman of steroids because it is easier to do that than to discuss the questions that arise about free will, the nature of man, and the duality we all possess that enables us to do great things and heinous things.
Was hoping to hear/read more of your insights on the issues that you didn’t get to touch on while on H&C. Hopefully you’ll take the time to do so in the near future. Steel cage match with Hannity, hahaha, that would be hilarious! I enjoyed your segment and even posted an entry on my site: TomsView.com, you can read it here- http://tomsview.com/?p=17
Perhaps we’ll see you on Fox News more often… whether it be guest appearances, interviews, hosting your own segments or your own show even. If Michelle Malkin can fill in for Bill O’Reilly, then I would most certainly think you could fill for Hannity on H&C, then have your own show that would rival O’Reilly’s in conservative popularity. I’m all for it, think you would be great for conservative talk radio as well.

Every damn time Warrior had a chance to answer a question, One of those guys interupt him.
Warrior laid it all out, Benoit is stupid for killing his Wife & Kid, But at the same time, Who knows if Steroids or any other drug made Benoit snap.
Warrior can tell the story because he has used Steroids & can say if it was Used or Abused.
No matter what, Warrior / Ultimate Warrior will always be #1 of all time to me.
I wish Warrior was back in the WWE.
Hi WARRIOR! I was glad to see you on the show, but I truly despise both of those two who interviewed you. I knew Hannity was gonna be an “azzhat” and try to shift your focus and trip you up the best he could. They cut you off and didn’t let you finish what you were trying to say, although you did manage to get a few points across. I agree with you whole heartedly about “use” and “abuse”, and the fact that there are so many others who “use” the drug/drugs and are not monsters or criminal minded and are not talked about. It’s only when unfortunate situations like the Benoit case happen that the drugs are the main focus. Please write up another blog , disect that interview and take their questions and answer them in as many words as you like. I for one, would like to hear you finish what you were trying to get across in your own full context. I enjoy your blogs and admire you for your ability to guide others in a positive way, your lay it on the line straight up attitude about life as well as you being one of the greatest, most intense, wrestlers in the entire history of the sport. You always made me smile and I knew if Warrior was on, we were in for a good show. Thank you for being. Please write more!!
Warrior, all the respect for you to remain eloquent in such difficult settings. Those reporters clearly were assholes and very disrespectful by not letting you voice your opinion and sentences without interrupting you every five seconds. If a reporter asks an opinion, he or she should at least let the other party voice it. But now since it didnt fit their idea on the whole situation, they started interrupting and trying to thrown you off… They didnt succeed and made themselves look like complete tools. The Kevin Nash interview by the same idiots, had the same setting and again it didnt work out quite the way the wanted. So they cut him off completely. One word ASSHOLES.
It’s obvious Hannity & Colmes firmly believe Steroid abuse are the direct result of the Benoit Murder/Suicide. With different media outlets reporting that Benoit was receiving a 10 month supply of Steroids every 3-4 weeks, it’s easy to look at steroids as the issue.
But can you blame Steroids for the deaths? No. Warrior brought up a great point in saying many Professional Wrestlers use steroids to appear healthy & strong on the outside, when many of them are ‘rotten’ & very unhealthy on the inside.
IMO, I believe the point Warrior was trying to convey but wasn’t given the opportunity because these fools weren’t willing to let someone with experience with the drug explain - the point was, many of the steroid related deaths were due to prior existing health conditions or prior MENTAL conditions. Many Wrestlers who have died & been rumored to have been a result of steroids were severe abusers of the body building drug, abusers of many other drugs which stimulate the heart & let’s not forget to mention the amount of mentally unhealthy people in Wrestling.
The way Wrestlers are brought up through the industry, touring doing excessive amounts of shows, paying little money & easily never noticed - it’s only a given that many Wrestlers who are mentally & physically unfit to be using steroids begin using the drug & begin abusing the drug to help boost their success.
Most of all, Doctors need to bear a LOT of the responsibility for steroid abuse. My question is: Why is such a big deal made about Doctors & prescribing steroids excessively to athletes such a big deal when Drugs like Oxycontin & other major Pain Killers/Anti-Depressant drugs are prescribed in outrageous amounts, creating addictions & massive amounts of death…much more than what Steroids may be responsible for?
I firmly believe Warrior is fully capable of getting the word out, but he needs to find a Media outlet that will give him the 5 minutes he needs.
I was and still am a huge fan of The Warrior. It was nice to see you speak on television and you put those guys in their place. It upsets me to no end when I see these journalists ask stupid questions. “Roid Rage” did not kill Woman (Nancy) and Daniel but a sick man did. It took him three days to commit the crime he did. I have never had rage for three days and I do not think steroids would make a difference. It was also interesting to read that this men don’t want to grow up because it is so true. The world they live in his make believe and they don’t know how to live outside that. That must be why they dislike you so. I am glad I did not get the WWE DVD of you. I think you were smart, correct, and very sane during that interview. Keep talking because the little Warriors are listening!
While I agree that it is drug ABUSE that is the deciding factor in the deaths of all these young wrestlers, isn’t it time for an industry wide wake up call? I really don’t believe that we need these giant steroid infused monsters in a wrestling ring to make it look good. If the focus was on the wrestlers ABILITY to preform moves and his athlectic ability rather than the size of his arms, the industry and the individual wrestler would be better off. Point being, if there is no gain from doing roids, then wrestlers won’t do them.
Now, I’m not trying to be pro this or can that. I just hate seeing all these people I grew up watching on TV die needlessly. Yeah, youo’ve said it’s because they’re weak or whatever….but when do we say it’s just time to change and regardless of the mental strength of any certin person have a BAN ON DRUGS AND STEROIDS!
WWE keeps waving this “Wellness Policy” in front of the media. I think we all know it a load of bullshit. They’ll make a few examples, one of which might be a top guy…but probably not. Joey Mercury was let go (so what), and Chris Masters was on the bubble…notice his size decrease after his absence? Will we ever see the WWE (Vince McMahon) own up, take responsibility, and put REAL mesaures in place to protect the wrestler? Sadly, no.
I hope that the few wrestlers, and former wrestlers with the balls to stand up and speak will demand the changes so that steroids and drugs in pro wrestling are terminated.
Sadly, if nothing is done we will all just be waiting the next terible tragedy.
Your appearance on the show was great! Its been quite some time since i last saw a video of you. Still it really bothers me when people got shows and they ask and ask and ask but they are really not looking for answers but only ratings and to underline so many times the stupid theories and not going to the bottom of the situation at hand. I really hate that, the person was asking and asking, like mantaining an agenda… that looked so bad… then there was the satellite lag… They where shooting and shooting and when u got them pinned (no pun intended) they only said, “that’s not the point”!! They really looked bad, like desperate people asking stupid questions!!! I would really love that u can talk freely on the subject cause this shows all the networks are doing are just for show and rating and that really disgust me! Thanks again for ur words, and keep them coming! Ciao! =)
One note here guys, I don’t mean to be accusing, but I hate how the media sensationalize steroids, it drives me crazy. I don’t mean to be judgemental, but anyone in the “know” can agree that Benoit was using them at least since the late 80’s if you ever have seen Stampede wrestling where he started. So I find it really hard to believe that a guy that had been using steroids for about 20 years, all of a sudden decides to murder his family because he is on them. Sorry, but I’m not buying it.
Hey
Listen you need to find a church(Pentcostal) and learn that it never has been about you.It all about Jesus!you have beecome a role model to some,to other a joke, either way you are some one that that people take note of.Why not use that to tell people about jesus instead of yourself.
In your Uconn speech.which i thought was real good, you kep there attention. You talk about all the books you read.Have you read the Bible??
What about Peter,Paul,John,James this were the real founding fathers.
Warrior… you real want to help people,Tell them about Jesus.God might real speak to.unlike you interviews clam on wwe.
I was never real a big fan of yours,Sting was more my guy.you can reply if you want.
There are true followers of God said “The Living One”(www.templeoffreedom.org) and there are people who talk the talk but are NOT under God’s Grace even if God is frequently on their lips. Warrior IS under God’s Grace, Sting isn’t. He looks like a nice and kind of likable guy and a great athlete but if you’re going to bring God into this arena then how could you possibly like him OVER Warrior. You obviously aren’t under God’s Grace or else you wouldn’t have said some of the stuff you said the way you said it. Yeah you found some good stuff in the Bible and in Christianity but you should take it to the core of your being and live it until you dissolve and are no more; You can’t do this by the way(see http://www.templeoffreedom.org if you’re confused) If you could see what I could and people like Warrior could then you would know why Warrior functions in a whole different way than Sting does that is more in line with your hero, Jesus the Christ. And he’s more in line with Jesus Christ because, although he might not be always talking about him like you probably do, Warrior obviously comes from that place deep within(not as an idea but ACTUALLY-that is to say bio-PHYSICALLY). Becoming a Christ is more about transformation than information.
Don’t know what else to tell you Jim except that I hope you find your way to God for Real as I can say that you’re not there. Keep trying, don’t give up; and be passionate about it and you just may find some”thing” Real.
Yes Warrior has read at least some of the Bible as he has mentioned in an earlier post.
No disrespect to Warrior, but I really have a problem with the media going
after former WWF/E wrestlers that have not been in the company for years.
Warrior has no been in a major wrestling promotion since 1998, and hasn’t
been in the WWE since 1996. He’s been out of the business for almost a decade,
so while he is entitled to his opinion, I don’t understand how he can comment
on the inner workings of a company he hasn’t worked for in over 10 years.
The fact is, things change. After the unfortunate death of Eddie Guerrero,
the WWE instituted a drug testing program that they refer to as their Wellness
Program. It was instituted starting February 27, 2006. So people like Marc
Mero, Steve Blackman, Debra Marshall, Lanny Poffo, and yes, even Warrior would
not have any first hand experience with the drug testing program. Yet they are
the ones we see in the television interviews discussing drug abuse and the
Wellness Program.
The coverage of this tragedy by the media has been, for the most part, pathetic.
It seems like all the talk shows want this to be a simple open and shut ‘roid
rage case, instead of waiting for the tox reports to come in and base their
opinions on facts instead of speculation. The fact is, the medical community
still can’t decide if ‘roid rage even exists, after multiple studies.
I will agree with Warrior on one point: there is absolutely a difference
between drug use and abuse. The ultimate responsibility for drug abuse in
professional wrestling rests on the individual using them. However, the working
conditions placed on professional wrestlers certainly doesn’t make it an easy
decision to make.
I love this man. He was a rock in my childhood roids or not, I was a huge fan, I loved him and I never tried roids, I think these interviews are set ups from the get go. They play on peoples words and twist what your saying and lead you into things, Fox news is a joke
There’s lots of good points in this interview and I am glad you made them, Mr Warrior.
This being said, if those two idiots could had let you talk, it would had been better.
First real point here: Dope in professional sports is everywhere. Regardless if it’s in wrestling, Ice Hockey or basketball, we can expect that those athletes and “Role Models” are on the juice. The perfect example is the bicycle race known as the “Tour De France”. I have a local analyst that said that you NEED to be doped to follow the beat. If you don’t dope yourself, you lose.
Same thing at the Olympics and in all major competitions. Can we expect perfect purity from all those athletes when we know that they got a pharmacist in their team’s payroll?
Then, another great point brought in by the Man himself; Steroids dint killed Benoit’s wife and son, he did. It is so easy to blame “Roid Rage” over these murders. It calms those who loved him and give an excellent explanation for the sensible mind who thinks that monsters don’t really exists. The fact is that, even of the Steroids made Chris Benoit lose his head, he’s the one who made the choice to take them in the first place.
The bottom line in this story is the idea that Chris Benoit screwed-up the last action he ever took in his life. If he had just committed suicide, I would had sympathy for him. By killing his own family, he smeared his name and will be remembered in infamy.
HEY WARRIOR IT’S GREAT JUST TO SEE YOU AGAIN EVEN THOUGH THESE CNN GUYS TAKE CHEAP SHOTS AT YOU ,YOU ARE ONE OF THE REASONS I STARTED WORKING OUT,ALSO STALLONE WAS A BIG IDOLE OF MINE TO.I JUST BOUGHT THE WWE DVD ON YOU,BUT OF CORSE IT WAS ONLY ONE SIDED,I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE DVD BECAUSE THEY MADE YOU LOOK LIKE SOME SELF CENTERED A HOLE,BUT I HAVE BEEN READING AND BEEN WATCHING WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY AND TO ME YOU MAKE PERFECT SENCE,PEOPLE TAKE MY PASSION AND OPINIONS ABOUT SUBJECTS ON LIFE AND WHAT HAVE YOU ALL THE WRONG WAY,THEY GET SCARED ,OR INTIMIDATED OR THROW ME OUT OF WHAT EVER IT IS.YOU ARE A TRUE ROLE MODEL FOR KIDS.THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT MOMENTS
YOUR THE BEST
VINNY
Well first of all, I think the damned delay (lag, latency, call it what you will) in audio throughput hindered this interview to a significant degree. The flow was therefore choppy and out of sync between the two interviewers and Warrior. For crissakes, competing cellphone companies have faster connections. Anyway…
I am interested to read/hear the Warrior expound upon his statement that there is a distinction between use and abuse of steroids. I just got a new computer and am getting use to the site so forgive me if I sound like newb (well I am one). Back on topic- I don’t know what types and what levels of steroids could be categorized as detrimental to a human being’s welfare. However, being open minded, I am willing to accept that a distinction between use and abuse is a very likely reality. If steroids are the only drug that a person intakes, and are used with prudence, then I certainly think that the human body can withstand that.
I was glad that the Warrior was able to point out that “there are no excuses for this monster.” When we’re talking about causality, or rather, when the media is trying to determine causality in the Benoit case, it’s important to remember that applying the scientific method is virtually impossible. Nonetheless, using some inductive (and perhaps deductive) logic, some of which the Warrior mentioned, it is possible to reason out some ideas in the Benoit case. Personally, I think that if a person is unstable, IT IS NOT ANY ONE THING that will eventually cause them to snap. Rather I see the cause of Benoit’s action as more of a Venn diagram, with quite a few circles (representing contributing factors); each overlapping a bit in the middle. Not one of those factors (wife, kids, roids, depression, stress, genetic predisposition, stress, childhood trauma, other unknown mental illness, etc) was the sole cause of his behavior, but rather, they all cascaded upon one another to overwhelm Benoit, and in the end, quite tragically, he made an irrational and mentally defective decision to take the lives of those he loved, along with himself. Anyway, just some things to think about.
Well I better wrap it up- I got some readin to do on the site.
You mentioned in your interview the difference between using steroids and abusing them. Those goons on the show had no concept of what you were talking about. I think I grasp the concept to some degree, but I’m a little in the dark as well. My concept is that these guys who abuse the juice are just taking more and more and more out of control until, it becomes detrimental to health. My question to you is if you could sometime tell us the procedure to safely use steroids rather than abuse them. You know most of these athletes get their information from other “junkies” in the gym rather than somebody who knows their head from their asshole on the topic.
Also, another person on this forum mentioned the idea of you running for president. I don’t know if your interested, but if you polish your delivery a little and not deal with imbeciles like the “good” people at Fox News, you could be a definite candidate for the US house of Rep. You got a lot of good points, not just on this Benoit mishap but from the topics I’ve read on this site over the years. The world needs a hero and you might be it.
I JUST WANT TO CONGRATULATE WARRIOR FOR HIS INTEGRITY. IM FROM SPAIN AND I HAD NOT SEEN THE VIDEO UNTIL TODAY. THE TRUTH IS HE WAS JUST TRYING TO BE SINCERE AND SHOW HIS THOUGHTS BUT THOSE TOOLS CANT ALLOW THE TRUTH COME OUT. THERES A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN USE AND ABUSE AND I KNOW WELL ABOUT IT. IM VERY SAD FOR THE ANTISTEROID HYSTERIA THE USA ARE SUFFERING NOW (SAME HERE IN SPAIN), IM PRETTY SURE THERE ARE A LOT OF BIGGER PROBLEMS THAN THIS. BUT THATS NOT THE QUESTION THE QUESTION IS WHY NOBODY CAN GO AGAINST WHAT THE MEDIA SAYS AND FORCES TO BELIEVE???
MY FATHER AND COUSIN WERE COMPETITIVE BODYBUILDERS IN 70/80s AND 90s. NONE OF THEM ARE SUFFERING SEVERE SIDE-EFFECTS RIGHT NOW, OK I KNOW SOME PEOPLE IS SAYING: WAIT FOR THE LONG TERM EFFECTS…, WELL MY COUSIN IS IN HIS 40s ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN BUT MY FATHER IS ALREADY WELL ENTERED IN HIS 60s. IM NOT SAYING WITH THIS THAT THE DRUGS ARE SIDE EFFECTS IM JUST SAYING THE TRUTH SHOULD COME OUT. AFTER ALL THE USE OF THIS DRUGS IS IN THE FREEDOM OF THE INDIVIDUAL…I ALWAYS SAY THAT MY FREEDOM ENDS WHERE STARTS MY NEIGHBOUR’S FREEDOM.
AS I SAID THANKS WARRIOR FOR BEING A MAN AND FOR YOUR INTEGRITY…
THIS IS NOT A QUESTION ABOUT BEING IN FAVOUR OF STEROID USE OR NOT IS A QUESTION ABOUT FREEDOM OF SPEECH…
I ALWAYS ADMIRED YOU SINCE I WAS A CHILD BUT NOW I ADMIRE YOU AS A TRUE MAN…
I UNDERSTAND THE IMPOTENCE YOU COULD FEEL IN THAT MOMENT…
Just want to give you a pat on the back I’ve just watched the video on u tube. Thank god we dont have them on our UK tv they seem to like the sound of their own voices more then letting you speak and the media are always trying to blame steroids for everything I dont think roid rage exsists and I dont believe they thought Chris Benoit could of had roid rage for 3 days thats stupid.
It seems the only thing that the news wants to talk about is steroids. It seemed that they tried to cut you off several times and it also seemed you were not respected by this news show but you handled yourself professionally. I thought the cage match idea for the troops was a great idea and it would be fun to watch you kick some Hannity $%#. However, this entire situation is a tragedy and several lives were taken which makes this hurt all the more. I do believe that something needs to be done about perscription drugs and steroids in Wrestling but the issue they failed to talk about was personal responsibility. Everyone has a choice but is it possible that an overuse of drugs and steroids can cause someone rage???? Regardless there are no excuses just like you mentioned on the interview. Did you attend the funeral?? Anyway, always believe is your motto and that I hold on too……….
I just watched a one hour video on uTube in which you spoke at UConn. I am 35. Male. A good family man. I think you were very talented as a entertainer. I used to follow wrestling closely in the 80’s and early 90’s. I enjoyed watching your show. I think because of the lack of mentor’s in your life and the early departure of your father (as in my case) you did not receive proper guidance. The difference is I took responsibility for my issues and learned to respect all people, regardless of race and sexual orientation. This is the only time I will visit your site. I wish you and your family well, but I love the fact I am free (and Canadian by the way)to choose not to expose my daughter to the type of person you have chosen to become. Yes, it is true, even us socialists can talk freely about our opinions. To bad because you had a real opportunity to make a positive difference long after you hung it up.
Sorry you had to go through having to deal with Sean Hannity. I have nothing against the man, but I have listened to him multiple times on the local conservative radio station here in St. Louis that I am well aware of the fact that he is notorious for constant interruptions of people all the while blaming them for not answering the questions that he just interrupted. One of the St. Louis radio personalities tagged him as a “douche” and he’s not far off really.
I, for one, am glad there are people out there, like yourself, who take a no-nonsense, no-P.C. approach to expressing your beliefs and your ideas. You are an inspiration. I hope you come to the St. Louis area sometime if you are doing any speeches of any sort around here.
Sir, I am in full support of the answers that you have given in the interview above. I would like to thank you for given honest answers to questions that were asked. It is to bad that these “so called” newspeople did not take the time to let you fully answer the questions that were given to you in the first place.
To Sean: Go take a F’N walk bubba….And you’re welcome for protecting your sorry Canadian ass with our military. Without it, you’d have become another province of China or the Soviet Union years ago.
Warrior, the HELL with H&C. Everything you said was true. Some people that grew up indoors sucking on thumbs will never understand from a TRUE Gladiator’s point of view. Your time as a wrestler inspired me to work my body to the fullest, and your words feed my mind and soul, which is helping me expand my horizons as man. Thank you Warrior.
Warrior Sir, What you said was absolutely true and made perfect sense. The world does not want to listen to legitimate facts anymore but gossip and more gossip thats why they were stopping you in your speech all the time.
the interesting thing about this whole topic is how the media always tries to turn everything into “roid rage” hysteria when in reality, somewhere close to half the guys on that list wrestled during the 80’s - a time when drug use, sex, partying, and basically everything under the sun was a common occurance. These guys that died, spent their lives partying and doing drugs and now years later, it finally caught up to their bodies.
Brian Pillman, freak accident with an auto mobile ends up abusing drugs and overdosing while trying to cope with the pain of what happened, despite years of working on an injured foot. Nearly half of all wrestler related deaths have no relevance to steroids at all, but are in all actuality drug related. Years of sniffing coke, shooting needles, smoking pot, drinking excessively…. They lived a party life and they paid the price for it. In an age where all you had to do was “say the word” to the local bartender and you got whatever you wanted; it’s no wonder so many have died.
Half the guys from that generation can’t remember jack because of brain cell loss from all those years of partying and drug use. And people wonder why guys like Iron Sheik are roaming around babbling incoherently.
Well now its drain bramage. These fellas are taking football impact shots to the head, No helmet mind you, and every body wants some kind of smoking gun. Chris lost it due to a lot of things, not saying its OK but people “Loose it” all the time. Wives freak out also, no roids, just freak out. Football players commit suicide. Lots more at risk being an athlete. We should take better care of our role models. Warrior take care man. You will always be the founding father of ring intensity to me and my boy.

Way to tell him, Tim! I mean, this Sean guy was preaching about taking personal responsibility for your actions and treating others with tolerance! Imagine a horrific world where that sort of thing happened. The guy was obviously a communist nazi hippie.
Would just like to thank you for the great entertainment you provided to me when I was a young kid. It is a shame that the WWE has gone from entertainment to what it is today, exposing women as objects and creating fake monsters with no talent or personality.
It started off with Hulk, went onto you, then to the likes of Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin, then the era ended and it is now filled with high school type bullies who have over dosed on steroids.
Happy Patriot’s Day to all those fellow American patriots and warriors who remember, honor and appreciate those who fought in the initial battles of the American Revoutionary War. If not for them, we may not have all the freedoms we take for granted today. Also, let’s remember those who died and the families that suffered on the tragic day of 9/11 at the hands of evil men who cowardly kill the innocent and delusionally think they are doing the will of God. May God’s wrath have no mercy on their souls.
May we as individuals do what we can to keep America strong and integrous.
Gary
It is 9/11. 6 years. The war should be over but not because we should have cut and run. We should have kicked their ass by now. We have the power. Damn political crap has kept us from shooting first asking questions later. I hope today reminds us why we need to get angry and need to kick some ass and then go do it. The lyrics to this song are fitting for today.
Darryl Worley - Have You Forgotten
I hear people sayin’. We Don’t need this war.
I say there’s some things worth fightin’ for.
What about our freedom, and this piece of ground?
We didn’t get to keep ‘em by backin’ down.
They say we don’t realize the mess we’re gettin’ in
Before you start preachin’ let me ask you this my friend.
Chorus
Have you forgotten, how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten, when those towers fell
We had neighbors still inside goin through a livin hell
And you say we shouldn’t worry bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
You took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it’s too disturbin for you and me
It’ll just breed anger is what the experts say
If it was up to me I’d show it everyday
Some say this country just out lookin’ for a fight
Well after 9/11 man I’d have to say right.
Chorus
Have you forgotten, how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell
We had neighbors still inside goin’ through a livin’ hell
And we vow to get the ones behind Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
I’ve been there with the soldiers
Who’ve gone away to war
you can bet they remember just what they’re fightin’ for
Have you forgotten
All the people killed
Yes some went down like heroes
In that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten
About our Pentagon
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don’t you tell me not to worry ’bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?!

It would be great to see you on more shows if you so choose. I wish they would have just let you speak.
July 5th, 2007 at 4:56 pm

Cool
July 5th, 2007 at 7:40 pm
July 5th, 2007 at 7:46 pm
Hey Warrior!
I grew up watching you! Makes me mad when people ask celebs to come on their show and answer questions and they do not have decency to let the guest answer the question asked. I don’t know about you, but nothing pisses me off more than being interupted when asked a question…those guys were very disrespectful! Hope all is well!!

Hey Warrior,
Nice to see you again, its been a long time since I saw you on tv.

July 6th, 2007 at 12:35 am
Man, nothing is more annoying than watching a show have a guest good enougb to give the show their time, just to have the host not give them the decency to let the guest speak, or cut them off like this clip showed. People can say whatever they want about Warrior, but man that was brutal how they treated him and tried to make him look on that.
I got a kick out of the one guy saying “I think it is abuse if you use steroids if you do not use them for medicinal purposes.” He looks like he has never touched a football or a hockey puck, he obviously has never walked in the shoes of an athlete who had to make a choice.
Get them off the air.
July 6th, 2007 at 1:51 am
I wasn’t too happy with the interview: too many interruptions, no point was clearly made. I look forward to your article on Benoit and the theory on “Roid Rage” though.
July 6th, 2007 at 8:01 am
Great points Warrior, there is a difference of use and abuse. Just like with anything, you abuse it you can have problems. Just a while back I heard of a girl dying from analgesic cream due to excessive use. Which goes to show anything without proper dicipline can lead to problems. Always great to hear what you have to say Warrior.
I’ve never stopped believing

July 7th, 2007 at 9:06 am
Warrior,
Was hoping to hear/read more of your insights on the issues that you didn’t get to touch on while on H&C.

I Agree with WARRIOR,
Every damn time Warrior had a chance to answer a question, One of those guys interupt him.
I Will Always Believe In…
THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR!
July 7th, 2007 at 9:34 am
July 7th, 2007 at 11:58 pm
July 8th, 2007 at 4:19 am
Brilliant Warrior.
I can see why you started to get pissed off with the the two guys interviewing you. They would not let you finish!!!
Anyway, you are correct, they are looking for excuses for a man who is/was basically a monster.
July 8th, 2007 at 10:48 am
July 8th, 2007 at 1:43 pm
July 9th, 2007 at 5:32 am
July 9th, 2007 at 10:10 am
Ciao! =)

Hey Warrior, I saw your interview…great job in telling it HOW IT IS…the truth! You look great by the way for your age!!
Best,
Vic
July 10th, 2007 at 10:57 pm
One note here guys, I don’t mean to be accusing, but I hate how the media sensationalize steroids, it drives me crazy. I don’t mean to be judgemental, but anyone in the “know” can agree that Benoit was using them at least since the late 80’s if you ever have seen Stampede wrestling where he started. So I find it really hard to believe that a guy that had been using steroids for about 20 years, all of a sudden decides to murder his family because he is on them. Sorry, but I’m not buying it.
July 10th, 2007 at 11:10 pm
You also have to hand it to Warrior for admitting his useage on TV, talk about balls man.
Hogan sure didn’t do that on Arsenio!
July 10th, 2007 at 11:39 pm
July 11th, 2007 at 2:31 pm
July 14th, 2007 at 10:32 pm
July 14th, 2007 at 10:34 pm
I love this man. He was a rock in my childhood roids or not, I was a huge fan, I loved him and I never tried roids, I think these interviews are set ups from the get go. They play on peoples words and twist what your saying and lead you into things, Fox news is a joke
Warrior for president!

July 20th, 2007 at 7:05 pm

Hey Warrior,
You mentioned in your interview the difference between using steroids and abusing them.

THANKS JAIME

Mr. Warrior, Sir,
Sorry you had to go through having to deal with Sean Hannity.
Respectfully,
Chris

Hail Warrior

the interesting thing about this whole topic is how the media always tries to turn everything into “roid rage” hysteria when in reality, somewhere close to half the guys on that list wrestled during the 80’s - a time when drug use, sex, partying, and basically everything under the sun was a common occurance.

Hi Warrior,
Would just like to thank you for the great entertainment you provided to me when I was a young kid.
I wish you the very best for the future warrior!

Good words Gary.
It is 9/11. 6 years. The war should be over but not because we should have cut and run. We should have kicked their ass by now. We have the power. Damn political crap has kept us from shooting first asking questions later. I hope today reminds us why we need to get angry and need to kick some ass and then go do it. The lyrics to this song are fitting for today.
Darryl Worley - Have You Forgotten
I hear people sayin’. We Don’t need this war.
I say there’s some things worth fightin’ for.
What about our freedom, and this piece of ground?
We didn’t get to keep ‘em by backin’ down.
They say we don’t realize the mess we’re gettin’ in
Before you start preachin’ let me ask you this my friend.
Chorus
Have you forgotten, how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten, when those towers fell
We had neighbors still inside goin through a livin hell
And you say we shouldn’t worry bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
You took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it’s too disturbin for you and me
It’ll just breed anger is what the experts say
If it was up to me I’d show it everyday
Some say this country just out lookin’ for a fight
Well after 9/11 man I’d have to say right.
Chorus
Have you forgotten, how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell
We had neighbors still inside goin’ through a livin’ hell
And we vow to get the ones behind Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
I’ve been there with the soldiers
Who’ve gone away to war
you can bet they remember just what they’re fightin’ for
Have you forgotten
All the people killed
Yes some went down like heroes
In that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten
About our Pentagon
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don’t you tell me not to worry ’bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?!
