Second Rate Animals, Weather Wonks Wonking off, and Rich Poverty, etc…
“We measure [them] by the courage and character they have, the resolve they show…he had the heart, determination, and the bravery he showed while under such challenging circumstances was so admirable…”
Who is “they”? Who is “he”? You first think it is a soldier, right? Wrong, “them” is “horses,” and “he” is Barbaro. ABC’s Good Morning America lead with the “sad” story of him being euthanized. The story ran exactly 9 and one-half minutes. The next story was about the war in Iraq. The coverage lasted 1 minute and not one second had anything to do with, “We measure [them] by the courage and character they have, the resolve they show…he had the heart, determination, and the bravery he showed while under such challenging circumstances was so admirable…” No, the whole segment was all to do with the “resolve” the insurgents have. Ladies and gentleman, and 12 year old transsexuals, our-enemies-within are inspiring a future world where we humans will soon be out to pasture, as we will fondly remember was once done to the real beasts, not the rational animals. I’m looking forward to it, actually. Being a full-time Stud living a life of leisure and pleasure might not be so bad after all.
Oh, the damn weather. According to celebrity weather scientists without a scientific weather agenda, we all only have about 10 years left. This is actually a good piece of news. Because I was just wondering a couple of days ago just how much more of this Earthly nonsense I can take before I crack and exterminate some other human beings along with me as I go down in full blaze of glory. And the first one I was going to take out was our irritating, undependable local weatherman who can’t correctly forecast the weather for even 10 minutes from now, let alone the next 10 years. Since we ALL only have so much time left, my anxiety to annihilate others has “melted,” so to speak, and I’ve decided to just ride this “final tidal wave” of existence out (pun intended). May as well trade my guns in on some surfboards. I do, though, think it is true. The World is warming. It’s the heat of anger those of using our minds have for the bs and lies. It’s so funny. We won’t control the power we have to control our own human Creation, i.e, being human beings with Free Will and the power to choose, but we think we can control the powers of ALL of Creation and what IT is going to do. Frankly, I think some scientists out there stumbled across a bag of some pro-wrestler’s steroids and have been eating and injecting them. I mean, the ego of some people just amazes Me, excluding My Own, of course.
20/20 has a poverty special on this Friday. Diane Sawyer said, “So many people have stopped me on the street to tell me how much they appreciate ABC’s coverage of this issue.” Sure. That’s what Manhattanites do — take time to talk about how they appreciate specials on poverty, while they scream. “F’ you, get out my way, I’ve only got so much time today to work at banking my next million.” Coverage of poverty is nothing new, it’s just that those who do the specials beseeching us common folk (typically very charitable) to cure it don’t do anything at all about it, themselves.
Even by radical liberal skewed standards, there are 37 million in poverty, at poverty, below poverty…whatever, claiming to be down and out financially. To make the point I want to here, it really doesn’t matter what description you choose or even what number, pump it up by 3 times. Go ahead. At that number we are talking 100 million people, let’s say, for the sake of this poignant point I want to make. That’s 1/3 of the US population. My question, with all the guilt-ridden concern these liberal socialists have, why don’t they step up and cure poverty, themselves? Oprah doesn’t have $37 million, 100 million? Oh, that’s right. She has it but only for her racist ventures in Africa, like the school only for less fortunate black girls; what, there aren’t less fortunate white girls? asian girls? swedish girls? russian girls? She can’t get Bono, Madonna, Warren Beatty, Brad Jolina and Angie Pitt, and George Clooney and all the other harebrained entertainment millionaires to grasp the simple math? Together they can save the World from everything!! Hell, just buy Africa! Build your own Country. Why don’t they? What about brilliant, wealthy people who are very good at math? People like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. They invest money and build computers — what, they don’t have a $2 calculator to do the math? They don’t have the money between just the two of them to simply hand over the pocket cash and cure poverty in this country, maybe the whole World, once and for all?
Hell, give the 37 million people in poverty a million bucks each and tell them to have a nice life. Go ahead, try it. You know why they don’t? Because they know it would fail for “oh, so obvious reasons”; less than a year later most of those impoverished people would still be living lives of poverty. You know why and so do I. We’ll save its discussion for later.
This example I provide here tells nothing about how many billions our government spends on social programs. You know what the truth is there? The truth is: if we just equally divided ALL the money — first, confiscated from those of us who generate it — among those who get it through the distribution of social programs, they’d ALL be rich by our own standards of what rich is! Again, our cheap amusement at watching the dumb-butt dog chase it’s own tail has us all paralyzed and speechless. For those of you amazed at this brilliance I’ve just displayed by using my simple common sense (yes, of course, I am also a wizard at math), you’ll enjoy this Katrina piece I wrote. It tells another truth: when it comes to government, “rich” and “poverty” are only what they ARE depending on what those in government claim them to be — and that, my friends, is subject to change at any given moment.

I agree.
There are more important things to be concerned with than a broken horse. If the horse died trampling some terrorists then it deserves some airtime.
Give money to people in poverty and they will just waste it while having 6 more kids.
Global Warming does not exist. It is as real as Bugs Bunny,Mickey Mouse or Paris Hilton.

I think we should leave Oprah alone.I’m no fan but who cares ,at least she’s not blowing the money. As for our troops ,I think it’s a travesty that we can’t send them the help they need cuz of all the demo’s.The war will continue so lets get it over with and quit wasting all that money. We owe that if anything to the people who already fought and gave thier lives.Don’t prolong the extra troops! Thats cold blooded. And as far as Africa ,maybe Oprah did blow her money ,cuz the goverment can be crooks.Whats with that?

Warrior,
Both the liberal media and neocon propaganda machines could care less about good men and women dying in Iraq or poor people on the streets. What matters to these groups is getting viewers, listeners, and advertising dollars. One hundred troops could die in valor tomorrow, but you know the top story on Fox News will focus on the death of a crocodile wrestling maniac who died trying to get to first base with a sting ray. Sure, that was sad he died, but where are our priorities? These news anchors and agencies remind me of some of the marks you took care of in your career. Just like Honky Tonk, Katie Couric will never be able to handle the power of the Warrior.

As Far as poverty goes ..I’ve been as poor as they come though I lived as a christain of the Assembly of God ,I use the hard times as a way of growing character. I’ve met many “poor” people but not really to my standards.Did religion keep me out of trouble,no money did.I could never drink essesively, day after day ,where do they get the money..or even think about spending it all on coke,or just bad spending.Have to have it all.Thats why so many get addicted to meth, have to have it all attitude, and the same thing happens over and over, you never find it. o, warrior i throw much love in the direction of yours truly. I remember the first time i heard the name Barbaro, overheard it many times. People on the tv sopke about his condition, there were constant updates. People were sending Barbaro letters. I swear, i thought barbaro was some brazillian kid who got hurt playing soccer, in the wrong place at the wrong time. when i found out that Barbaro was a horse, i said, “what the BLEEP? they’re updating me on the condition of a…horse? a bleeping horse!? people are literally writing letters to a horse. i honestly didn’t believe people in this country reached that level of stupidity.
i remember when i was a kid, my pet guinea pig died. i cried. but it would have been absolutely absurd for any one else to give two sh!ts about the dead rodent.
i mean, if the intention was to be funny, absurdly acting as if this is a story, then it would make sense.
the comments you made, warrior, about all them stupid celebrities was hilarious and on point. and about your stupid weather man–i can just imagine it. had me on the floor laughing.
P.S. on thanxgiving, my older brother was over and i finally got to show him your website. told him a gazillion times before that to log on, but he never did. he thought your thanksgiving post was really funny, especially the “tell your neighbors to call 911 after you’ve pancaked.” he also said you use alot of adjectives. he was a hogan fan as a kid, however, today he remembers you as the super cool wrestler from back in the days. hogan, of course, as anyone will tell you thinking back was a cornball in that ring–no legacy.

Warrior, I must say that’s a good point about Oprah and her fellow celebrities. Give me $1,000,000 and I could retire and live happily in my 4 bedroom house for the rest of my life, and Oprah has a gold toilet. Additionally, in response to Aaron’s comment, she does in fact waste money. In September of 2004 she gave away 276 $28.000 Pontiac G6 2005 sports sedans to her entire studio audience, people who - ALREADY HAD CARS. Sounds like “blowing” to me. Warrior, I check your site daily. It’s awesome to read your material. Your fan, Jason.

Just imagine if Oprah took that $40 million and gave a half of a million dollars to 80 homeless people in New York City, Philedelphia, or Chicago, or wherever. Reese Witherspoon (who can’t even act) makes over $30 million per movie. Imagine what she could give. Americans (believe it or not) are dying of starvation every day, when most people get to DECIDE what to eat every night. And who says Oprah doesn’t “blow” money? The woman has a solid gold toilet seat. Try again Aaron.

I got a good laugh tonight. I was flipping through the channels and came across Larry King Live and he says “Tonight we start off the show with sad news” and I thought some old star died.
What was the sad news? Barbaro had to be put down and tonight the first interview since they made the decision, his owners and his doctor.
They all ready probably sucked every last bit of sperm out of him and what ever is not going to the dog food factory will be cloned. But Jesus you would think the Pope died with the attention they are giving him. Ok it’s sad that he had to be put down, but lets face facts. Any other horse would of been taken out back after the race and shot. He got an extra eight months which is more then most race horses in his situation.
And yeah that 12 year old, I know those British are wacky but isn’t there some sort of child protection law against that?
January 31st, 2007 at 3:01 pm
Good post, old friend. You know how I feel about the media. Take a horse that has had millions spent on it to win more millions, run it into the ground; then euthenise it, that is news. Take a guy though, that is very ill…watch him learn to walk again, then watch him work hard for 7 years to become a professional bowler and some day get off of disability…that is just NOT news worthy. Warrior, I am still the only person the government considers both a profesional athlete and legally disabled, but to quote you on this, “The media, they don’t fucking care.” And our soldiers? One of my old friends from college just came back from Iraq. He told me about all of the great things he saw over there while working with the Corps of Engineers. If that stuff gets any coverage at all, it is buried on page 27. Yet the newspapers will post the death toll day after day. The media never wanted this war, so this their way of making the public weary and swaying opinion. The media can be all too powerful. I think more than anything the Hearst papers were responsbile for the Spanish-American war. “Remember the Maine.”
About global warming. I think I am to blame for that. I recently got a letter from Green Piecemeal telling me how my farts are harming the environment. They said I need to “put a cork in it,” whatever that means.
Seriouisly though, I had been watching someone else ( a scientist) make lots of references to global warming. I had seen him quote data about this very subject and appear to make a point. A few weeks later he was discusing another topic (dark matter, I think) and I told him my kids had some questions about geology. The earth has had several ice ages, yet warms back up, why is that? He told me how the earth’s climate was inherently cyclical in nature, it has been warming and cooling for millions of years. My response was that it sure shot his idea of man causing global warming all to hell. The great man of science then shot me the bird.
One last thing on the environment. I think George Carlin says it best about the whole “Save the Planet” movement. “The planet is not gong anywhere….WE ARE.”
Now, let us talk about poverty. I will use the rock star Bono as an example. This singer has some good causes I do not disagree with. He has been presuring governments to forgive third world debt and donate millions to his causes. But several months ago he was taken to task for trying to get out of paying taxes to his own nation’s government. Whatever happened to “putting your money where your mouth is?” I think you and I discussed the late Harry Chapin once. He is the man who sang “Cat’s in the Cradle.” Harry also founded the World Hunger Year (in the 70s, before it was cool to do so) and got President Carter to start his own commission on hunger. But the difference with Harry was that he put his money and time up. Of the 200 shows he did each year, 100 were for charity. He even mortgaged his own home to help out one of his causes. His giving was legendary. If some celebrity wants us to give until it hurts, then they should do the same.
As to social programs. They suck. You know all that has gone on in my neck of the woods. I still get hate mail from some other disabled people for my stance that we need to get rid of the federal disability system. If you have the time, visit my own site and read the “Hand Out or Hand Off? essay on social programs and the dangers therein. http://www.spongedaddy.com/SpongeOsophy/HAND_OUT.html
I participated in Medicare part D last year in hopes of getting access to the medicines I need, you know the $8,000 ones. Those meds are not covered. Also, I spent more in premiums than I received in benefits from the program. My question is, the billions this program is costing us, who is getting the benefit?
Again, good post, Warrior.
Be well,
Sponge
January 31st, 2007 at 3:37 pm
I can see some contradictions in this post, insofar as traditional political stances. I think it shows some thought, and even a little bit of embracing thoughtlines of a more liberal stance. Nothing heartens me more than to see individual thought. And nothing sickens me more than phony celebrities preaching to the masses to give.
I saw a photo of a world summit on climate change recently, and thought my eyes were playing tricks. In amongst World leaders, leading scientists, sociologists etc, was the ridiculous sunglassed profile of the possibly the most obscenely pretentious idiot in the world today, Bono. I ask you, BONO!!! How dare he have the gall to attend, who does this popstar think he is? What a sad reflection of the times, seeing someone like that genuinly believe he is a force of good in the world. A multi-multi-multi millionaire who is’nt happy unless his ego is stroked to the same degree he is by his bank manager.
January 31st, 2007 at 8:09 pm
I ask not to attack Bono. He’s a real life “straw man”. Anyways, I just want to say that it is more complicated than to just dish out money to poor people and solve the problem. There’s a wide variety of social expectations that you have to deal with in other lands. How is an african hunter going to know to invest his money on a public company? He’s more interested in just having more rain for his crops.
I don’t know much about Oprah’s school efforts in South Africa, but I don’t understand why people don’t think more positive in that soon there’ll be a class of educated young women entering society. I mean, it’s not everyone, but you’re starting somewhere. Of course, that is unless, she’s doing a self-serving promotional tour and doing her book club and so forth. That would look stupid.
January 31st, 2007 at 9:18 pm
Knight783,
As the Warrior preaches, care for the body equals care for the mind. If you look closely at Bono, you can see that he has a little beer belly sticking out. Can you trust the opinion of someone built like the Bushwacker?
January 31st, 2007 at 11:06 pm
I have seen down trodden areas in Aberdeen where children are born into low income families and more often than not, end up as low/no earning adults. Innocent children grow up seeing their parents living off social security, smoking, drinking, living badly organised lives, observing poor personal hygiene etc.
Every other parent will have a designated social worker who will be of no practical use to them at all whilst costing local councils substantial amount of money.
In situations like this the odds are against the kids becoming useful adults. The time spent between birth and adulthood pretty much determine what kind of adult a child will become (with the odd exception).
Social prorammes of any kind in such areas should be heavily focussed on children (not drug users or alcoholics or sob-stories!), they should be provided with excellent recreational and educational facilities in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
If the USA is anything like Scotland, then most of the councils grand ideas end up throwing tax payer money to the wind. Figure out how many kids live in poverty, and spend a million dollars on each of them through carefully thought out schemes and strategies, not something that’s just been chucked together to allow a box to be ticked “Done”. The cash shouldn’t be invested in their poor excuse for human/excrement parents either! Only then would the viscous circle start to stop.
By the way…..loved the Podcast, very entertaining, been reading your thoughts steadily on this website since 2003, nice to finally HEAR them. I Warrior ..hope that you wouldn’t be too offended if i pointed out that you are a wee bit mental. (good mental, but still mental) Maybe it’s one of these things you need to get out of your system on occasion.

Wonder why my stuff did not get posted , here goes again :
I am from SA were Oprah built the school, to a tune of , come now guess , 50 million $ , yes , roughly in our currency it is 350 million rand .Well you could buy a nice piece of real estate with that , probably the size of Hawaii and fully furnish it .just for info , 50 underprivileged girls are going to the school , I think it is a good idea , but it should not have been so costly, with the same amount , she could have built 100 schools fully equipped and schooled 100 000 needy kids . You guys in America don’t know much about SA, it is a very developed country with the most beautiful weather in the world, the problem is the population, just too many here and the wealth is shared by only a handful. Warrior is right is that more could have been done, I mean with that type of money u could make millions happy , not just 50 , also look at the sexism aspect , why no boys , the idea according to Oprah was to educate women so when they grow up , they will have a right to say know and stop rape and Aids, that’s an excellent idea , but could it not apply to more girls for a school costing less , and educate boys so when they become men, at least the future generation will now abuse and rape women like the current in our country , I guess you guys have your own issues with the war in Iraq, come to think of it , there is a war out there for everyone , its our choice how we handle it and its in this choice that will define us , and make or break us . Warrior , you are arrogant and have a big ego, but my friend , you have every reason to be , I am the same and think along the same lines as you , I guess that is what separates us from the norm and put us up there with the lateral thinkers . Thanks for the article

Yeah, I agree with your statements about the wealthy people in America. They have more than enough money to make a positive change in this country, yet they waste it or spend it elsewhere. Why do those celebrities feel compeled to adopt children from other countries? There are thousands of kids in America that could benefit from their charity, and I’m not necessarily talking about adopting anyone. Too often the focus on social problems shifts overseas. Granted, there are countries that are in dire straits, but that isn’t because of the US. Their leaders and their government need to learn how to resolve the problems that are plaguing their country, and not rely on the US so much. A popular term used to describe economically challenged or undeveloped countries is “Third World.” If you really think about, Africa is more like a “Fourth World” country. there is too much savagery and total disregard for human life in most of that continent, that it’s no wonder genocide is widespread. This is something that the United Nations must resolve with those respective African nations working collectively, not as a handout. To go there and force democracy would most likely escalate into something worse than it already is.
Going back to some of the coments made, I agree with Knight 783, people like Bono have good intentions, but I think they don’t belong in a place with world leaders, scientists and other professionals. He should just stick to raising money for charity and promoting his cause in his respective field of entertainment and not have the gall to think he is in the same league as those people.
February 2nd, 2007 at 10:00 pm
Warrior,
I have been a fan of yours for many years. I have my own music company - named after you in honor. Liberal Media will tell us that we are soft and weak, they will persecute us. But I choose to turn weakness into strength - somethings liberals fear. When my father left our family, I turned to strong male role models to get me through life. Some people confuse this respect with homosexuality. Warrior, Stallone, Ferrigno…I channel all these people into my music. Even though I’m not signed to any record companies or labels, and most of my music career consists of working in a record store, I believe now that I have what it takes to guide others. It is conservative way of thinking - not concentrating on Barbaro, that will make this great country move forward.
The lives of the troops are worth more than the inanity of these media scumbags.
February 5th, 2007 at 1:43 pm
I’m just laughing my ass off !
That was the best one yet about our wonderful “hole-models” in Hollywood.
Now come on, Barbaro did deserve some airtime…give him the one minute quick tribute, then try telling the friggin’ truth about the war. Stop giving the dame Islamo-pigs more reasons to keep up the fight. (ut oh…that might be misconstrewed as being discriminatory mentioning the P word with Islam…well to F’in bad!) Stop telling us how many troops died and tell me how many Islamo-facists got frapped. Wait, that doesn’t help the Lib agenda. Hell, I’m still hearing sob stories about New Orleans. Don’t get me wrong, I do feel bad for those who lost their homes and those who dies in the hurricane, BUT….next time somebody tells you the “big one” is coming….get the hell on the nearest bus or start walking your fat asses north away from the Gulf of Mexico!!
The main stream media also needs to be “gutted”, it’s ridiculous. Now we have goofball Reps like one of ours from Ohio, Dennis Kucinich, who wants to re-instate the fairness act for broadcasting and promote what he calls a more “progressive agenda.” Just what we need…idiots and know-nothings telling me what to listen to on the radio. I would rather stick roofing nails in my eyes than listen to any BS progressive or liberal crap on radio or TV. What’s the matter, afraid people will see the light listening to conservative radio Dennis?
Back to the war. Kick as much ass as possible, forget about taking names and tell Iraq to step up and quit being pussies and take things into their own hands and stop waiting for handouts. Oh yeah, Iran, you’ll be broke soon anyhow via the new cold war, so keep on with your nuclear pipedreams and watch your PEOPLE go apeshit when you have no economy and Saudi Arabia is making you pay through your big noses to get your oil refined. You can do just that…threaten and then get stuck sitting your sandy asses on your oil because you can’t afford to refine it yourselves. Forget about asking Russia for help, we already broke them and if need be we’ll shove a boot up their ass too.
Stop cowtowing to these piss ant countries and whining lefties. Be the tough guy and be true to Republicanism…REAL Republicanism.

Hrm…. so kids who grow up poor are are doomed to be poor (and slovenly) all their lives, eh Scottish? Didn’t Warrior come from one of those poor, “broken” families?
If I recall correctly, it was a mentor, not a social program, that gave Warrior motivation. Maybe he can tell the story again, as my memory isn’t 100%.

I would like to respond to the following excerpt from massive_weapon’s post:
“A popular term used to describe economically challenged or undeveloped countries is “Third World.” If you really think about, Africa is more like a “Fourth World” country. there is too much savagery and total disregard for human life in most of that continent, that it’s no wonder genocide is widespread.”
As someone who actually lives in Africa, I consider these comments insulting and grossly simplistic - typical of the “First World” bigot whose world opinions are informed by media obsessed with perpetuating “Third World” stereotypes.
Sure, there is savagery in Africa. There is also beauty, hope, peace, love, growth, and abundance. By way of simple (yet powerful) example, Africa has produced one of the very few democratic revolutions virtually free of civil war and bloodshed - a complete contrast to other historically significant political revolutions (American Civil War, French Revolution, etc.)
Who should the “Fourth World” take their lead from to be less “savage”? Should we be more enlightened like the United States and adopt a neo-colonial, exploitative foreign policy that eventually catalyses the very people it oppresses to commit acts of “terrorism”? Thereafter, should we invade foreign countries - falsifying evidence and lying to the world, where necessary, to justify our crimes against humanity?
Perhaps Africa can be less “savage” by looking to Western Europe - where politicians engage in pedophilia - for their role models?
Or should we all just copy China and wipe out entire national industries by exploiting a workforce of billions?
The truth of the matter is that “savagery” happens everywhere, irrespective of nationality, ethnicity, ideology, culture, or any other demographic trait. The “First World” may project any image of sophistication and morality, but all the ipods, cable tv, and fast food franchises in the world are simply the trappings of civilisation that hide the savagery beneath. And, as Hurricane Katrina so tragically proved, when those material trappings are lost, morality and sophistication is quick to follow.

I’m glad the Warrior is back. Great times! I don’t know if this is actually true - feel free to correct me - but I read somewhere that Warrior was voted least likely to succeed in his high school class. Obviously that didn’t come true, and Warrior probably made more money and had more fame than most of his class combined, but I can see based on the Warrior’s general ineptitude and low IQ why those kids would have awarded Warrior that title. The guy’s mental, just like all of you on these posts - typical conservative radio automatons. Warrior you suck! I’ll be reading all of your posts, for the entertainment value of course. Cheers! Looking forward to refuting even semi-legitimate arguments that happen to turn up on these boards…haven’t seen any yet so I thought I’d just jump in on the mudslinging.
February 11th, 2007 at 11:35 am
Warrior,
Just wanted to know who are you supporting for the next Presidential election. Which one of the candidates so far have the experience, knowledge and moral character that America needs. Obama seems to be getting alot of hype right now, even to the point of being described as an “African-American JFK.” Looking forward to your reply.

Weather: Read a book recently, called Eco-Scam, from 1993(forgot the author’s name): Long story short: It IS A SCAM, all of these Liberal Scientists, Newspapers, TV reporters, all saying” We’re gonna die in 2022, at 3: 07 pm, EST!” Roll-Eyes!
I recall back around 1970, (yes, I am old),until even 1978-79, I read in newspapers, heard Scientists say ” We are now endtering a new ice age, within the next 25-35 years”….”" and so on.
SAME SCIENTISTS( or should I say maybe Lobbyists?lol), now say,
Global Warming, Doom and Gloom, Death is near” ,
GO look up Global Cooling, from about 45-mid-late 70’s, scientists were freaking out about this…. Never Happened as they claimed( even says on the sites/link” a Theory”… a bad one, and a “Never Happened “One).
Just like the late 60’s and early 70’s predictions of a glacier hitting Chicago by 1989, or whatever… this is the same stuff.
For such computer/information age “savvy” people, some seem to not be able to find The Truth/Facts out? I did it in 2 minutes.
Who was to balme for Global Warming a million years ago? Dinosaurs?
Who was to blame for the Glaciers? Aliens from Mars?
Honestly… use that head for something besides a hat rack.
Hey, if you want more “Scientific Theories” on how man is killing the Earth by 2020, see the National Enquirer!

Put down the “kool-aid”,and read this. The Earth has always went through warming and cooling trends.
Factual Information is provided on this link( and note: it is NOT associated with Al Gore, otherwise, the “information” would be miscontrued as facts, you know, the man that “invented” the internet!).

Just wanted to say that the liberal media doesn’t seem to represent the left. Liberal implies a centrist position. The Left is taboo in the media which is corporate owned according to my understanding which makes sense for we know of people who would do anything for money and profit. Those who own the media, I think, want to ensure their profit, by showing the point of views which will support their cause of profit and power. I say this because it sounds like a lot of the comments I hear on this site reflect an ignorance of the dynamics of what’s going on. For example, it’s possible to NOT know why something is done and then make a wrong analysis. This makes me think of the idea of how there’s “a guy” on top causing division amongst the people and that the people are fighting each other instead of, together, fighting that “guy” on top there. Like Bob Marley said: “when you wanna get some food, your brother’s got to be your enemy”
In order to be objective about something, you have to go outside of it. What’s outside the liberal, corporate owned media? The Left(they are literally Left Out). I am not even saying that I ‘m a leftist, but to be objective about the media and liberalism you have to go outside of it which is the Left. Points of view such as those of Micahel Parenti and Noam Chomsky.
That, to me, is the beauty of this site and of Mr. Warrior’s whole life in allowing these kinds of exchanges to take place that wouldn’t get as much market value(yet)but has tremendous True Value to those who aren’t scared to think deeper into what’s really important.
Instead of pushing against that which we don’t like(ie: the liberal corporate-owned media), why not pull the rug out from under them(radical - more deeper - analysis)

The worst thing in the world is the Democrats… why be one unless to offend god..there is a reason thier symbol is a jackass cuz they are one, they think by lying thier asses off and not caring for thier fellowman is the way to go..hell they’re trying to deny the troops the help they need so they may come home.whats a demos job? symple, gun down sociaty.(or dumb down)Besides most those man deserve to be thier ,I think to cure sociaty we need to automatic register any one who wants to hunt or carry a gun into a draft for the war, most people hunt for fun but what gives them the right, when they would be deserving to die moreso for their reasoning. Bears and Cytote’s .elk, and wolves should be at the top to outlaw killing, shoot em on your property but don’t dare hunt them down cuz I’ll be praying someone shows you the same love. As for democrats again ,if you wish to be an ignorant race go ahead or you can use the head and the heart god gave you and go with the intelligent choice(Republican) and work to make it better,or be a demo and just give up.My brother and father are demos of sort and there is no good reason, hell even Kerry proven to be a stupid asshole.Fear is the only reason to be a jackass or democrt we have an inner knowledge with in us to differ whats good and whats not.. but somehow we constantly feel the need to have someone else tell us. Thats how Charlie Manson worked and come on are you a super idiot or what. Oh yeah he’s cool unbathed crazy pervert but who cares he says he’s christ. What I want out of life is to get my ass kicked as a profession and not to judge anyone for their differences but on how thier destroy sociaty with ignorance.Let gays marry ,if u hadn’t notice marry isn’t that sacrid anymore. So word of advice ,no need to kill your spouce! Legalize drugs ,why not atleast it will actually get them off the streets and regulated, drug dealers are good people its the pushers that arn’t right. Plus even affect of the marijuana has proven to be good, other then the immagrates it might bring ,but come on we don’t need to keep reliving off the depression era because some idiot saw a bad move or was told that it was bad ,had they ever asked why it was bad ,I’ll tell you because of the mexicans. Putting someone in jail for weed is a crime against god and nature, believe that! carbon bi-oxide is the key ingrediant in mari jane look it up… Warrior Aaron out.

Speaking of pastures, I want to know the Warrior’s thoughts on grains. Honestly, I feel like a cow when I eat them, but when I eat meat, I feel like a warrior.

It doesn’t amaze at all that the liberal media considers the death of some fleabitten mangy horse or the latest romp of some drugged up whore like Britney Spears far more important than the accomplishments of the troops in Iraq. So long as the masses are entertained it’s all that matters.
The political machinery wants the American people to be stupid. They want us in the dark. They’re glad your average voter can name every candidate on American Idol yet can’t name one political party other than the Democrats or Republicans. It’s no suprise that those in power don’t really give a crap about ending poverty. They know that so long as the poor are dependant on handouts they’re easy to control and will keep on voting for you so long as the easy money keeps rolling in.

I can certainly understand some of the attitudes regarding the “lazy” and “shiftless” members of the lower class, and all of this business about handouts and whether or not the government should offer assistance to those people and so forth. I’ve gotta say, however, that as smart as alot of people fancy themselves to be, it really is very surprising that nobody will acknowlege the reality of the situation that you are inarguably connected to those people. The suggestion that celebrities could, if they wanted to, pay out of their pockets to these less fortunate people if they wanted to fix this problem is complete nonsense. Doing so would not fix the problem because that money would simply serve to displace the lower tier, who would in turn be replaced. Its basic economic theory that even at optimal employment in any given market place there is going to be an unemployment rate of 3 to 7 percent. It is UNAVOIDABLE. You know what that means? That means that if we tell all those people “tough shit, get a job” and refuse to support them, then they will resort to their own means, generally illegal, to provide for themselves. Granted the money that goes to them from the government is displaced, but if it doesn’t go to them the lower 5 % of society resorts to whatever means possible to provide for themselves in a society that has no legal employment to offer them, and desperate men rarely make rational decisions.
This is a problem that cannot be eliminated. No society will ever achieve the efficiency of 100% employment, especially not on a scale as grand as this country. If you gathered up all the unemployed and unemployable people today and shipped them off to another country, there would be another 5% of everyone who was left that would be unemployed next week. Thats just the way a free market system works, you drop the bottom 5 percent then the damand for the most basic necessities drops, and the people who produce them get laid off.
None of you live in the vacuum that you would like to believe exists. While it is true that liberals live in a dream world, and that the utopian society they argue for is a fiction, the same is true for the vacuum in which the neocon’s operate. The reality is somewhere in the middle, and thankfully we have a system of government which provides enough checks and balances that neither the right or the left can bring things too far from the middle. The reason you have the bottom 10 percent isnt that they are shiftless and lazy, its because full employment is and impossibility. How we deal with that is a matter of public policy, and you really have two choices, cut them off entirely and let them fend for themselves, which would result in a spike iin violent crime, or we can give them money, some of which in turn they use to purchase necessary items to sustain themselves, cycling the money back into the stream of commerce and contributing to the profits of major companies. Which sounds better to you guys?
Unfortunately the big picture may prove too much for small minds.

Here is the quote I think of any time I hear the word media: “The death of one is a tragedy, the death of millions is just a statistic.”
The media is liberal friendly and anything on TV anymore seems to be about Britney Spears shaved head, a drug addict head case super model overdosing, or the tragic story of a horse?!?!? Other than NFL season, the TV attracts zero of my attention anymore. It consists of the “I’m ok, you’re ok” liberal pissing and moaning. Liberals are the best at complaining without any offer of solution. Their craving for attention seconds to none and their words are a poison to true righteousness and furthermore a waste of soundwaves traveling through the air.
Replicanism (in it’s true form) should be applied in Iraq ASAP. None of the Middle Eastern countries are our friends or allies, I don’t care what anybody says. The Middle East is like a zoo. All of the animals are in their cages (countries). If you let all of the animals out of their cages, they will all kill each other. However, the one thing they all have in common, is they all hate the zookeeper (United States). These shit ass countries lay down there subtle comments about “nuclear experiments” and such. I would make it plain and simple y sending a message to all of the countries. If any middle eastern terrorists detonate any type of “bomb” on American soil again, our nuclear fleet has been ORDERED to wipe your country off the map within 24 hours… and we’re not going to try and figure out exactly “who” is responsible… because they are all truly one in the same.

Warrior…
I have contemplated the word so often.
I’m a first time poster here, first time to the site in fact. It’s so refreshing to find people who think like me, people who won’t lie down and take the bull s**t the world feels it has the right to dish out.
I agree with your comment Warrior, if every celebrity in their BMW got together we could eliminate world poverty. but i also agree with your later comment, IT WOULDN’T WORK. Every starving african or poor street kid in washington wouldn’t get anywhere with a million dollars. Their small brains can’t grasp concepts like investing, saving and spending wisely.
Sure we can argue, “the system let them down”, thats crap. They let them selves down. If they don’t have the guts and determination to pick themselves up and walk the warrior path then maybe they don’t deserve our help.
After all, the population has to be culled somehow…
